sako751sg
Lent the camera to a fella and had a call today saying it had snapped something but nay sure what.He Emailed pics through and they are pretty blurry,i think due to either rain or frost on the glass and after looking for a few hours ive managed to see nearly every species it could be at some time or other.Seems otterish but the tail doesnt seem right so looking for a wee bit of PW guidance. SSS
Definitely an otter. Never seen a tail like that on anything else. This was road kill before anyone questions it. Edited February 9, 2014 by SSS

Archie-fox
I'd say otter... Shame about the road kill one, I assume they do massive damage to fish stocks but they are a nice looking animal..
henry d
If it was a marten you would have seen flashes of cream and the body angle is more like an otter, a marten would have its head up in the photos
sako751sg
Cheers all. Looks like otter then. There is a wee ditch leading up there and it looks like its followed it up,although it a few miles away from fush but that doesn't stop them.
