pigeon controller
Did the horse, sold some pigeons, walked the dog, put up some bird boxes, cut some shrubs down in the garden, cleaned the ferrets out, watched some darts, watched some football and checked out Pigeon Watch. Chris Bb
Well, after seemingly endless months of wetness, now it's turned warm & dry. So out with the mower which didn't want to start, how ungrateful, I've just given you a new spark plug & oil change! Eventually it started & gave the front lawn a quick cut followed by scarifying: 2 cubic metres of moss & thatch out of 50 square metres of grass, and there's more still to be pulled out! I'll worry about the back lawn once my aching body's got over the front one. Sacked "Green Thumb" last autumn having seen how little they did for my money. At least I'm now semi-retired so can spend more time trying to achieve a passable lawn.
fletcher1004
Went for a run first thing then put a whole slab through my new gun at the local clay ground before cooking roast lamb and watching the rugby. Unfortunately I now have to iron my uniform and put up with dancing in thin ice.......

woodcock11
No sun here today [there was plenty yesterday]. Edged the long border, removed leaves and weeded - making progress before lunch. Choral evensong at local church and then tea at friends - scones, cake the lot. Now for a beer and Borgen series 3 on DVd
