bullet boy
Well I've had my vacuum cleaner a long long time and it's starting to squeal like an ol dog so a new one is needed. Can you lovely people please recommend me a good vaccum cleaner? I was thinking the new Dyson Digital Slim vacuum cleaner? Thankyou.

ferguson_tom
Personally I have found the Dyson digital slim a piece of rubbish. We tried using it at home and was constantly getting clogged up with dog hairs which means you have to get the screwdrivers out to strip it down. It now lives in our caravan. jam1e
Dyson 07 are the dogs..... Had one for a few years now, and having 3 dogs all around the house it's had to work hard! Just wash out the filter every 6 months and she'll suck the chrome off a tow ball! Just had to replace the worn out brush bar, genuine part with sealed bearings either end of the shaft was around £8 delivered! I also noticed lots of other genuine replacement parts on fleabay at a cheap price. Everything clips together and is easy to work on and strip. Now I'm off to put me pinny on and bake a cake.... phaedra1106
Had a Hoover and a couple of Dysons, not great by any means :( A friend recommended an Electrolux Powerglide, amazing!, cat hair on carpet that the Dysons took several passes to remove comes off in one go, the Hoover pet vac was totally useless at it. Dougy
If its hair on or in the carpet you'll want one that as they used to say on the adverts " it beats as it sweeps " I think Dyson are over priced greatly, I bought a "Hoover" bag less vac 2000w £89 in the sale can't fault it left me £200 to spend on shooting related important stuff.
