Cranfield
Slightly chilly, but mild morning here, no sign of frost. I think living a mile or so from the sea keeps the temperatures up.
SNAKEBITE
This is what Winter is all about. Frosty mornings, clear blue sky and a watery sun low in the sky. Perfect.
JohnGalway
Fairly cold here this morning, windscreen was nicely iced over. Frost all over the place and a crisp blue sky, good healthy weather A perfect winters day.
new to the flock
It is -27celcius or roughly -15 Fahrenheit for the 7th day in a row So bloody cold that even if you could get past all the close to pee you would get stuck to the tree . Mind you haven't had any -40 weather this year to be out in so cant complain too much as I hate it when your damp hair freezes and breaks off NTTF

new to the flock
Funny you should mention that Highlander.....I use to keep 30 of the 8uggers. I would run anywhere from 3 to 20 miles a night on a sled, and Trix and I would spend 2weeks in January running dogs in the Allegany mountains each January I still have all of my sleds and other equiptment. Every now and then the kids want to play so we hook up the labs for them to have a trip around the fields and back. I am hoping one of them....probably the Middle Little ..... will want to get more involved in it someday. I do miss it but somethings need to take a back burner while the kids are growing up NTTF

webber
Don Now let me think, where would I rather be, outside -3; or in the office nice and warm, satisfying my customers demands to keep warm. It must be really cold in Wigan as DEAKO has been splashing out, and bought some gas. Next week he plans to read the instruction booklet for his heater, and may even light it it if his toes start to go black. Tis an ill wind that blows webber no good. webber

njc110381
-2 here this morning, with a good frost on the windscreen. Winter's great when it's clear and sunny, you don't get cold if you keep busy. As for the warm office, I've never wanted to go anywhere near one and if I ever have to, I wont be a happy boy! Getting to work in the dark then leaving in the dark doesn't sound too fun to me. Too much sunshine and fresh air being missed. I love working outdoors
webber
Don I tried, but they turned me around and sent me back to sunny St. Helens. It was because I had put your name down as a character witness. Mega problems at work at the moment, early starts and late finishes. Trucks in bits, contaminated diesel. Oh how I wish I was ferreting. Had to turn down a free do at clays tomorrow, now that did hurt!! webber
