Fisherman Mike
Very good. What medium is it painted in. Acrylic? Thanks, Its a real mishmash the dark background is painted in Acrylic as is the main body of the dog, The colour was added in Watercolour washes and the details finally picked out in Gouache and watercolour pencil. Nice job looks good How long did it take , do you sell your work ? It took me a total of about of about 20 hours, but I have been working on it since January a little time here and there. I have done quite a few bird studies on commission including a couple of large ones for a famous wildlife presenter but I do it has a hobby generally and mostly give them away. This is for Stevie B the site moderator as you know, and is of his departed and beloved dog Cas. steve_b_wales
I have sent Mike a massive thank you via PM, but would also like to thank him here, for doing such a brilliant mirror copy of my dearly missed Cas. Together with the other items I have had sent me from other PW members, it will take pride of place in my lounge. Mike, you are a very talented person, and I cannot thank you enough for the painting and your kindness. Best Wishes Steve (and family!)
