felly100
Redpoll are my fave visitor. I hope UKIP still let them come here in the future. Those work shy linnets should be made to do the work ,instead of relying on immigrants.
figgy
For me it's a few, little Jenny Wren always flitting about and singing, the skylark for its song in spring and summer, the gold and firecrest for being so rare up here and a joy to see. And our humble blackbird for its song.
ack-ack
I like the starling The thugs of the bird table. I love seeing them on the wing, en masse, pre roost. Magical. How do they never fly into each other? Which bird leads the acrobatics? How can they afford to waste so much energy? So many questions! digger
black bird. three separate calls of alarm depending on where the threat comes from. led to the demise of many a predator when heeding it's call
ack-ack
Depends. As long as they bring a skill that we need and can sing in English I'm sure they'll be fine. Would they have to wait six months before they could benefit from my feeders?

Which bird leads the acrobatics? How can they afford to waste so much energy? So many questions! They have character, they are cheeky and I love the colour of their feathers when the sun catches them. We used to get so many but they've really dropped in numbers over the last few years. PhilR
Robins. Cheeky little devils, there was one used to come and sit on the door mirror of the car and watch what I was doing, it even ventured into the garage on several occasions to get a closer look. kdubya
I usually have a squadron floating about my feeders at this time of year but they havent tuned up yet. Wren is my fave songbird, record occupancy this year in my coconut nests, at least six broods fledged. I thought you would have favored a nutcase oops nuthatch. bumpy22
the barn owl love to see them appear overhead at night when fox calling. I also always admire the humble robin when in the depth of cold winter ferreting, he will just follow and watch us from his hedgerow
