I went and enjoyed it. It was fairly peaceful today apart from about 12-1.30 when it got a bit busy

Pleasantly warm inside I was wandering about with my jacket stuffed in a bag most of the day.

Get there early as it will be rammed tomorrow by 10ish this is important if you are considering like me a gun or major purchase as you won't get close to stuff at peak times

I attended with three friends.

Halls were warm enough, food was OK if mildly expensive.

I felt that it was a better show than last year based on the layout and quality of the majority of stands.

I got a good deal off Paul Hart on a couple of items.

Received an order for a rifle and a pair of guns whilst at the show from a very satisfied customer.

I hope to return next year with a trade stand to promote the Bernardelli range of guns.

Went up yesterday, it did get busy from about 11am. Tried to go and have a play with the yukon nv scopes but couldnt get a look in so left that one.

The wife said she noticed there is not much for the lady shooter there as in clothing.

Got the bits and bobs I wanted(except NV)

Same here. Another couple of months until the Drone Pro's are on the shelf, I was told.

Parking was better than 2 years ago. I imagine it being very warm inside on Saturday and Sunday. That's why I went yesterday.

I was there yesterday. Nice to see only one or two dogs being dragged around. Don't bother with a coat as it's quite warm inside. Plenty of shooting related things to view or buy. I don't go with the intention of getting cut price bargains off the smaller guys we all know as if we don't support them they will not be there. I did view a few guns but not in the view to buying but I did see what I thought was reasonably priced guns. I'm sure there may be some space for driving a bargain. I did but another turbo flapper from Andy at AA decoys and a new dog whistle. My son and friend bought far more and was well pleased with what they got.

We got there early and drove straight in. We did encounter a bit of traffic in road works north of the showground but that would be the same any day of the week. It did seem strange going to a shooting show with no gundog trials etc but as it was my first ever visit I was unsure on what to expect. All in all a good day out without getting either soaked or sun tanned.

Been today, spent a little, looked at some geovid, ziess and swaro rangefinder bins, cut the choice down just 2 now, I can't read the ziess on a green or brown background. It's good to actually see these and get a hands on,.

Bumped into a couple of folk there and had a chinwag. A good day and worth while going.

Nobody has mentioned the traffic! We left at 6:30, coming from kent I wasn't sure whether to take the M1 or M40. We opted for the m40 in the end and stopped for breakfast at about 8am, bad move as we got stuck just before junction 9 where the big accident happened, finally walked into the show at 12:30 and lost the appetite to spend by then. Was looking for a Winchester sx3 but the "Managers Special" at Cheshire gun room was £80 dearer than my local gun shop. Also wanted to get a new decoy bag and groundsheet but had run out of cash and had already spent a hour looking for the stall I had seen them in earlier, why I got there they weren't geared up for card payments. Could have hone to the machine but I'd had enough. Only picked up a new set of rifle sticks and some flocked crow deeks and went home!
