Westward
As you're in Dudley why not give Brett Hand a call at Brierley Guns. I know several people who've bought CGs from there at good prices.
Tom-b
Ian coley have a great selection and you can normally get a bit of a deal, I was very tempted by the new invictus ascent!
Westley
Malmo Guns, near Lancaster. Well worth the day out, 2 hrs from Dudley. Go on a Saturday, leave early, visit Malmo then back on M6 and on to J36 (A65) visit Lupton clay ground,( fibre wads only) 100 bird sporter (£21/100) and then home. Good day out. Fatcatsplat
Anywhere a little more southern? I've got my beady eye on a maxus over the next couple of months.

The_Engineer
McAvoy Guns in Standish (Wigan) just off the M6 sells them. Would be worthwhile nipping in on the way to Malmo! They look the business and the owner swears he has never had one need repairing yet. I was looking at one for the wife just before Christmas. Suffolkngood
Anywhere a little more southern? I've got my beady eye on a maxus over the next couple of months. Have a word with Paul Simpson @ Simpsons of Newmarket.......... He's always given me a fair price on any p/ex I've swapped in and decent price on what I buy from him. They look the business and the owner swears he has never had one need repairing yet. I was looking at one for the wife just before Christmas. Called in there the other week - they only had a trap model available, the rest available for order (4 weeks if I remember) Apparently Anglo Italian are having try shoots this year based loosely on the calendar they have published for 2014 - check their site. I for one will definitely be going along as I can't decide between 30 or 32 barrels based on reviews I have read where people have gone longer in the CG than they have previously used
chesterse
Had a Summit Ascent for about a year now, brilliant gun and seems easy to get on with. However it has been back for repair for non strike problem on second barrel, 2/3 times per 100. Looking forward to getting it back this week. slimshooter
Thanks for all the replies so far, think it might be a case of ring round and a test shoot at Ian coleys on there openday, in answer to joecash already got a mk38 but the Invictus just seems to come up and fit a treat.
