Bill Oddy wildlife expert?

Did anyone see the still photo of a Weasel latched onto a flying Green Woodpecker on the TV last week? Amazing!

The interesting part was when the TV rolled out and interviewed that well known naturalist and wildlife expert Odd Billy.....who with great authority concluded it was not an unknown occurrence for this "rodent" to do such things!

Any countryman worth his salt knows a Weasel is a mustelid not a rodent!

A ringing endorsement for the expertise of all anthropomorphic protectionists who have a disproportionate voice in country matters in the UK.....what a joke! Tragic!

Periodically there is a post on this site referring to Bill Oddie. This unleashes an immediate outpouring of hate and vitriol directed against him for no obvious reason that I can identify. It is invariably the same posters who indulge in this puerile nonsense.

The man is an avowed anti, and appears not to work on reason, just emotion.
