Signman
I bought a HW45 in ,22 Not had an air rifle since my teens..many, many moons ago. Had loads of enjoyment from it plinking in back garden..then a Crosman 600..even more FUN But since I've bought a Rifle(s), all Daystate's the Pistol's have not been out. Not sure why but just seem to enjoy the rifle's more. Quite different. How many of you Air gunner's have pistol's and how often do they get used ? winnie&bezza
Yeah I've got a walther cp88 competition in nickel with wood grips but rarely sees the light of day which is wrong.
Zenduri
I would love a HW75 as those things are out of this world, build quality wise and just a pleasure to shoot. I've been lent one to use a few times at my club and i would jump at the chance to own one if the price wasn't so insanely high... but its high for a reason. Currently i have a Webley Nemesis .177 which Ive had for probably 16-17 years + since i was a teen. It's very cheap and no thrill but for the £80 it cost its a decent little pistol. Reasonable enough sight adjustment and same for the trigger. Its weigh is OK but that's down to the plastic involved on the grip and upper assembly. I use mine weekly at my club and aside from lubing its never needed any servicing and still shoots nice and accurately at 6 yards and 10 meters with Accupells Edited September 22, 2015 by Zenduri
Mike737
Not since the ban was imposed... Used to have a Ruger .22, S & W 38 special, and a S & W .357 magnum... Mike. Edit: None of which were airguns of course, wishful thinking... Edited September 22, 2015 by Mike737
Scully
I have one plus two BB's I bought for my son when he was younger. They're just sitting there gathering dust now.

Edit: None of which were airguns of course, wishful thinking... Good job posting about pre-ban pistols in an air pistol thread Edit: Side note a Webley rep told me about 6 months ago they are phasing out the Alecto as they see no market for a multi pump pneumatic pistol and will be bringing in a single stroke pneumatic at some point. Duckandswing
Umarex beretta 92fs and a host of bb guns. My young lad loves them and they are easier for him to learn with.
eredel
I have a Baikal MP 53M, Beeman P17, Lov 21, Beretta PX4 Storm, Tuned Walther CP88 and a Weihrauch HW45 which should be delivered tomorrow. I find pistol shooting very relaxing and can play in the back garden or garage depending on the weather....cheaper than a session on the clays!! Now I've listed my pistols I can see I possibly need to cull one or two that do not get used nowadays. Eric.
snarepeg
Hy score pistol with magazine fitted in .22 Webley senior in .22. Deeply pitted and rusty but shoots fine. Webley junior 1929 being repaired.
Signman
Great response fella's. So many of us own or have owned the HW45. I have a couple of young son's 10 and 13 Joe bought a BB on holiday and I got the bug. I'm thinking of buying him an FS92 in 177, he really enjoy's shooting in the garden. Th nice thing about pistol's is you can have a plink in the garage through the winter. I was attracted to the Crosman 600, man that thing has soul dripping out the barrel. Keep the post's coming
eredel
The HW45 I've just purchased has a chinese rip-off Trijicon RMR red dot sight fitted to the pistol. The pistol has been machined to take the sight so all very low profile....looking forward to trying it! Eric.
eredel
Incidentally, if anyone is looking for a cheap Co2 target pistol I can thoroughly recommend the Lov 21. At £89 you cant go far wrong......obviously not a top of the range target pistol but for the money you won't beat it. Eric.
arjimlad
I have owned a CP88 (accurate and great fun), a Gamo R77 (hopelessly inaccurate and a waste of time), an HW45 in .177 with a .22 spare barrel (splendid pistol) and still own a S&W 686 CO2 with three barrels - 4 -6- 8". Sadly, I had to choose between the HW45 and the S&W as I couldn't justify keeping both, and as my kids have started out using the S&W it seemed the more useful gun to keep. It doesn't come out very much because I prefer going after live quarry with the air rifles, .22RF or shotgun.
Livefast123
I've owned a few over the years but all sadly gone now. HW45 in nickel, 2 x Walther CP88 in nickel and black, Crossman Pro77, Wemtec 1911

Bloggs
I bought the HW75 a few months ago and have to say that although it was expensive it's worth every penny and highly accurate - she's a keeper :-)
foxbuster
I have a Webley Alecto .22 that I use for close range (and I mean close range!) feral pigeons. Brilliant little tool
manthing
I have a hw45 in .22 that is mainly used to dispatch things caught in traps as the scoped 97k won't focus under 20yards. Its very good at that and is a fun plinker as already mentioned.
