Dougy Posted October 11, 2015 Report Share Posted October 11, 2015 Rice, in mine. Oh! in another I have brass nuts and bolts in the bottom and rice on the top, quite weighty. I personally would not put sand in, some do but I wont put sand any were near any of my firearms. There's a zeroing range near me and i forget how many times I get there to find the table covered with fine sand, get that round your action and it jams it up, scratches it and not much good if it ends up up the chamber either. Rice, if it gets damp, can swell and mess up/burst the seams. I tried cat litter but it was too dusty as my bags dont seal that well!
