Danger-Mouse
Good news for fans of bot on bot action. Robot Wars is coming back to our screens. Should be interesting to see what the designers come up with considering how tech has improved since the series was last shown. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2016/robot-wars-returns
KFC
Looking forward to that especially, as said, technology has really moved on. Could be quite explosive with Lithium batteries
saddler
The last/overall series champion is a local (ish) chap & keen stalker/rifle shooter. Not seen him for a while so not heard if he's been invited back to defend his title.

bakerboy
One of the very few programmes I watched on the TV, looking forward to seeing what this series will be like.
Breastman
I think they should either ban or have a separate division for 'flipper' robots as their matches are dull as dish water. When hypnodisc first came on the scene and literally ripped the other robots to pieces it was awesome!

Cosd
My daughter who is studying Mechanical Engineering at Brighton University was invited to participate in the background of Robot Wars just a few weeks ago, She really enjoyed the experience but said, it is bl**dy scary when one of those things chase you around the building
fortune
I didn't like the use of the house robots. One on one combat should be how it is. I'd be well hacked if my robot was trashed by the house robots which are much bigger heavier and more powerful just to destroy something. it's no different to one of the robots being equipped with an explosive charge and blowing one of the house robots up . destructive power over design. ShootingEgg
But they're remote controlled toys (machines) not Robots Most robots are remotely controlled, be it a computer program rather that a controller.. Also "Remote Control Machine Wars" sounds pants Edited July 13, 2016 by ShootingEgg
