Cheddite 100 meter shells test

Recommended Posts

Just seen this on FB and if the results are anywhere near indicative of the performance then I personally find them extremely worrying and prepared to bet they'll be banned and require some sort of FAC approval to buy very soon :

Not only are they demonstrably useless at 100 yards, they may well be destructive and dangerous and at 125 yards when they have opened can't even be relied on to hit the pattern reliably (told you that anyway);)

Not good. They're essentially a slug filled with shot, no better than a cut shell like the Americans do.

I can't see a way for the two shot cups to separate, in the video at 120 meters I thought the war had hit the ground in front of the board spilling the shot onto the board.

Yup, I'd agree. That's struck the ground and the cup has disintegrated.

Got to agree with Hamster, those should be on S1.

Done a bit of research on these myself when they popped up on the other thread.Totally agree with you Hamster, what a pile of ****.

I'd never heard of them until recently here ( speaks volumes ) I find it difficult to understand how anyone would consider using these shells on feather/pheasant.Lets be honest,if they were any good I'm sure I would have heard about them before and surely some of the countries high bird specialists would have been using them ?.

so how do we know there just not a duff box he has , after all there not performing as there discribed on the cheddite website , there not a two bit company , they make some of the best shells around ,

think a lot of people may be just a little to quick to condem ,

These sort of cartridges only encourage those that already think they are long range specialists on the marsh think what they might try to achieve know.

why would they be using them on the marsh ???

Even though they appear to behave like a slug out to 100 meters? That can't be right.

They are not a slug as described in law though. They meet the current demands for a loaded cartridge.

Because we are still trying to educate the few ***** out there that are stil useing lead. ( poachers)

When they come out with a steel or bismuth version, will you be happy
