B725
I had them on my last Disco 2 that my mate now has they have done the best part of 40k and the front still has a third of the tread left
Scully
Bought 2 just before Christmas. I like them but haven't got off road as yet as ground far too wet.
robbiep
We've got Grabbers on the Shogun. Very happy with them
vampire
Had grabbers and bfg, both brilliant.
malmick
Got grabbers on 3l Terrano lwb, very little road noise and fine on fairly flat muddy stuff. Haven't had it long enough to know what mileage they can do but I know from friends that B725's experience is fairly common.
SPARKIE
on my l200 ive maxxis mt 764 big horns there a mud terrain pattern but not bad on the road....just a bit of a rumble. they seem to be wearing ok have done 13,000 miles on them and they look as new still. now on my vitara offroader i have INSA TURBO SPECIAL TRACKS the bees knees when it comes to offroad but horrendous on road lol
figgy
Had Dunlop duellers then Grabbers and after them I tried Falken land and air and these were the best tyres I've had for both road and grass and farm land. Quiet on road and very good wet grip. Your choice will depend how much bias you want for off road and in what as wet mud is the worst for any tyre. On a Landy I still don't think you can beat the mod tyres with Kevlar reinforced. Edited February 5, 2016 by figgy
Aaz
I'm running cooper discoverys STT at the min and so far can't fault them on or off road, bit of a cross over between AT's and Muds

Dickthomas
Mate of mine bought his Defender brand new with Grabbers fitted as standard 10 years ago, just changed them for another set after 80000 miles!!! And only because the tyre walls were cracking a bit, still had enough tread to be legal.
Alycidon
Grabbbers on my Disco 2 TD5 did about 120,000 miles a set, mainly on road and motorway. Currently running a TD5 Defender on BFGs, done at least 140,000 miles on the current set with about 35% of that towing, they are now down to about 3mm so need replacing. They were on it when we bought it at about 30,000 miles. A .
al4x
If it was a refined vehicle then grabbers might be the way forward but on a 110 you might as well stick something slightly more mud orientated. Had bfg at2 and the new at on pickups and I have to say I think the new at is well ahead of the at2. Pattern looks weird but it seems to just push mud out sideways
The Heron
I know I had decided to go with grabbers but after to talking to a Land rover enthusiast who has bfg all terrain ko2s on his 110 I have gone with bfg all terrain ko2s.The bloke who I spoke to went off roading on boxing day this has got to be a real enthusiast as most of us were still in Christmas mode he says that after 30 years of owning land rovers these are the best tyres he has ever had, we will see. m3vert
I think you made a good choice. I have the Grabbers on my Navarra and have been stuck fast in watery mud. Not sure BFG would have coped with that but I do think they are a better off road tyre. Its a compromise though and it depends on how much off road v on road driving you do. The grabbers are perfectly well behaved on wet tarmac and pretty good off road but not brilliant. They just about suit my needs, but since I nearly got my works Landcruiser stuck in deep sand on the beach 30mins ago, I would probably be better spending my cash on an off road driving course than tyres lol

m3vert
You mean lesson learned, don't follow the combine harvester's tyre tracks into the section where it got nearly stuck ;-)
