The robbers must have been told by some one they had the guns They possibly had them for the same reasons we have ours? It's irrelevant what the robbers were told. Old farrier
Hi Maybe we should define elderly? Also define back of beyond or secluded So we hav a couple of retired people living in a dream house They were both shooting people Or one was Maybe the last in a line of shooting families with maybe His or her fathers/grandfather guns of sentimental value in the cabinet alongside there own Dose it give anyone to right to steal them Seems to me it's the thief in the wrong here not the gun owners Just my thoughts All the best Of
labstaff
It's a pretty easy guess that if it's a farm there are likely to be guns there. I don't suppose the criminals were too bothered how many they got.
Old Boggy
thats a lot of guns out in the under ground world.wont see them again.thats a lot of guns for a old couple to have, I think that there may be a few on this forum, including myself who would take exception to your view that a couple in their 60s are considered 'an old couple' with the inference that they being that age should not be allowed to own that many guns. Why should age be a deciding factor in the number of guns owned inferring that it's OK for a youngster, but not an older person to have an extensive collection ? The robbers must have been told by some one they had the guns Would your comment have been any different if they only had four guns. With regards to living in the middle of nowhere, i would think you could visit most of the farms off the beaten track and find guns. It appears this was a straight forward robbery and the scum came across a bonus. Hope the mid to old couple come through.
