They possibly had them for the same reasons we have ours?

It's irrelevant what the robbers were told.

Hi

Maybe we should define elderly?

Also define back of beyond or secluded

So we hav a couple of retired people living in a dream house

They were both shooting people

Or one was

Maybe the last in a line of shooting families with maybe

His or her fathers/grandfather guns of sentimental value in the cabinet alongside there own

Dose it give anyone to right to steal them

Seems to me it's the thief in the wrong here not the gun owners

Just my thoughts

thats a lot of guns out in the under ground world.wont see them again.thats a lot of guns for a old couple to have,

I think that there may be a few on this forum, including myself who would take exception to your view that a couple in their 60s are considered 'an old couple' with the inference that they being that age should not be allowed to own that many guns. Why should age be a deciding factor in the number of guns owned inferring that it's OK for a youngster, but not an older person to have an extensive collection ?

Would your comment have been any different if they only had four guns. With regards to living in the middle of nowhere, i would think you could visit most of the farms off the beaten track and find guns. It appears this was a straight forward robbery and the scum came across a bonus. Hope the mid to old couple come through.

I have not had 4 guns .the most was 3 the 12g and 1 semi auto .then I bought one for spares of wabbitbosher but found out

It was not compatible.so I repaired it and sold both of them to members on here .they were 2webley 820 but made by different

Companies in turkey the parts were not interchangeable..

Like with the autos rather than scrap it like I said I repaired then sold them and bought the revo .i only had them about 3 month

Now I have 2 and that is enough sorry if it upset any one

Well that ruffled a few feathers then .but every one to there own opinion

I am hoping you will offer YOUR opinion on selection of one gun that would be suitable for shooting red deer, wild boar and clay pigeons, and also for control of rats and feral pigeons among farm buildings.

Oh I see, if the poor souls only had 3 guns nicked that would have been ok. But then, going back to your comment people that live off the beaten track shouldnt own guns especially if they are over sixty.

I missed something thought this thread was about stolen guns not about harassment of a forum member because he has an opinion ,time for some to grow up.

I have just looked back through all the posts for your comments, I cant see any, maybe you could share your views on the OPs original post.
