sako751sg
Been a great start although flat out with work so pretty much restricted to weekends and the odd evening. Dont think ive ever seen so many roe and and with the territory wars going on at the moment some fine mature bucks showing. Weather in the whole been excellent but hellwater for the last couple of days so hopefully get the rod dusted off and stags are starting in 3 weeks so cant wait. JDog
Great pictures as usual. Those bucks look scruffy in their coats but are obviously fit and well. Some good heads there.
sako751sg
Great pictures as usual. Those bucks look scruffy in their coats but are obviously fit and well. Some good heads there. Cheers JD. They can look mangy like in their transition from winter to summer coat but as you say are in good strip.Winter was non existent and pretty dry so they came into the year in excellent condition. .223
Thats what i call a great start to the season!! Was up around huntly a few weeks back trying to get a friend his first buck, got him a buck in the scope every stalk (6 in total) but he only managed to get a shot off at one and grassed his first with a perfect shot! just got to get back up there on my own now and start getting on top of them. Love the pictures

bodach
Aye cracking pictures, seems to be a lot of roe in the Aberdeen area, when I visit my daughter who is just outside the city on the south side of the Dee, always plenty to see when I walk the dogs. Must get out soon myself. B.

If I was you I would have gone earlier , April and May are the best months. Saying that there are that many roe in the Borders you should still do OK.
