poontang
Morning all, I'm looking for an artist who can do me a picture of a hare in either paint or pencil. About A4 in size. Happy to pay the going rate (less PW discount obviously ). So what can you do chaps and chapesses?

7daysinaweek
Wonder if Scully off here does any animal commission work or may know of someone? He has posted some of his artwork on forum before and it very high quality and would be a chap in the know around such things. I am sure he would not mind me highlighting his skill and knowledge. atb 7diaw
Mice!
Have you had a look around any galleries? Couple of years back we went into skipton there was a gallery there and some of there wildlife art work was outstanding.
Scully
Sincere thanks 7daysinaweek but I am genuinely too busy at the moment with commitments to a major local exhibition, galleries and a couple of national deadlines coming up. Poontang : Sarah Cemmick www.scemmick.wix.com/sarahcemmick specialises in hares, and have just seen some nice work by www.andrewhaslen.com has some prints of hares. A good friend of mine specialises in both human and animal portraits to commission and can be contacted by www.jenkirby.co.uk Her work is almost photographic. bruno22rf
Slightly off topic but a lady we know has a dog that is suffering from terminal cancer and we often meet up on our local walking fields. She was telling us just yesterday that she was approached by a lady who asked if she might take a picture of the dog due to his markings - our friend agreed and thought no more of it. This last weekend she gets a knock on her door and another lady who also walks our fields presented her with a painting of her dog that the lady that took the photo had done for her - she admitted to bursting into tears there and then as the painting is stunning and was even more touched by the fact that the painting is a gift - there are some kind folk out there.
