steve_b_wales
Can anyone recommend a good product to eliminate fogging/misting of my scope lens? Either home-made or commercial. There's an excellent one called Cat Crap, but it's unavailable in the UK at the moment.

Pigeon Shredder.
If you have a Homebargins outlet near you l can recommend the wipes they sell, Optical Lens Wipes, green/blue box with spectacle on front. 30 in a box and about50/60 pence. Same item on the bay for £2 a box.

I've got optical lens wipes from Lidl, but these are just to clean the lens, not fog proof it. 1 hour ago, Farmboy91 said: There was a stall at the show this weekend, they were doing people's glasses etc, did look pretty good. can't remember the name right now but I can check the magazine when I'm home un less someons on here has got a better memory than me lol. A lot of the products on the market are for inside, but obviously, I need something that works outside. I've asked my friend in the USA if he can get me some of the stuff I mentioned in my first post. 52 minutes ago, Pigeon Shredder. said: The ones l quoted from Homebargins are fog proof. Even better! Agriv8
I use the muc off anti fog for skid lids available from Halfords on my shooting specs http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=394023&categoryId=165742&langId=-1 Suspect it will be ok on optics as it designed for coated plastic lenses. Hector Vector
I recently bought a Bolle B200 B-Clean Anti-Fog Lens Cleaning Kit for the self same purpose. It turned out to be utterly useless. Has no anti-fog properties whatsoever. One to avoid. Interested to see what others have tried that actually works. bruno22rf
Used to use neat washing up liquid on my Motorbike Helmet - smear it all over then wipe gently away with a clean cloth.
steve_b_wales
Update: I bought a tube of Antifog by Sundog which I will try out soon. I also read today in Rifle Shooter magzine about a product called Klar-Pilot Antifog @ £7:95. (sunoptical.co.uk) It's supposed to be excellent in use, according to the write up.
