murph3010murph
I got given one of these any tips on raising the height it' not really tall enough but I like the style for holding my nets. So maybe where I could get a taller bucket to raise it up? Any ideas welcome.
old'un
Can you not lower the net?
murph3010murph
I' 6ft 1 my knees dont thank me jumping up from that position. Its not about being low down its ease of getting to my feet. My right knee isn't great these days. Years of rugby and too many pies.
oowee
Try the better quality 'Walk Stools'. The higher end ones are made in Europe not cheap but top quality. I bought two cheap tripod stools and the riveted the legs from one onto the other to give extra height. Then get a proper bag for nets deeks and the rest Edited February 21, 2018 by oowee
Westley
Shoot sitting down, with a bit of practice, it is easier than you think !

Westley
What does the field have to do with anything ? If you are sitting down prior to shooting, why stand up ? Edited February 21, 2018 by Westley
Walker570
Heh!! I'm 78 and I shoot sitting down and have for many years. However to answer your question, why not put legs on the bottom of the bin. You could even make them screw on so they could be tucked inside for transport. Piece of 1/2 inch ply same shape as base, four of those screw on leg plates for coffee tables and legs to match. Easy peasy. Cut some 4 inch round 'plates' to stop the legs sinking in. Pity your not near Leicestershire as I could have that up and running within the hour. Edited February 21, 2018 by Walker570

Dougy
Try putting a Breeze Block under it, should be about the right night and a nice firm base. Sorted.

A1Decoy
Spoil yourself and go for the new commander chair.. they go so tall you won't need to ever stand up! Or our bucket seats go up to 50cm. How tall is your current one pictured? There is a 'small' and large version of the bucket seat selling so may be the small version? http://www.a1decoy.co.uk/seats-66-c.asp Edited February 22, 2018 by A1Decoy
Walker570
Yep, saw the chair at the show and it looked a good bit of kit and a good price. I have three already so managed to drag myself away although sorely tempted.
