Yes. I think Holland's is the simplest system with just the three components. The Boss is "nicer" in that, well to my mind, it brings the cartridges out to the same length whether fired or unfired. But Holland's system is my choice of the three.

Red696
Hopefully the right place to ask this question. I’m looking at an AYA #3 it is 3” chambers with 30” barrels choked at 1/4 and full, but most importantly a pistol grip stock with lip of 14.5”. The case colour looks to be in good condition as does the wood ( wide forend ). what kind of price should I expect to pay at an RFD?

Miserableolgit
I'm not sure if I have contributed to this thread yet but I have always had SBS's in the cabinet along with the occasional O/U for the rare spot of clay busting but I admit to having a strong affection and preference for the former. I had this old Wm. Powell of mine out of the cabinet to give it a check and wipe over earlier today... Bought a sack of 16 bore of mixed shells years ago, from a dealer, a recent widow at time handed them in to him, probably about 300 or more in it. €50.. then there was another dealer closing down, got 20 boxes of hull three crowns paper case for €5 a box. But to buy them at the moment off the shelf if you can get them they would be expensive.. the gun doesn't get used often.
