What if blaming the Russians so quickly has been a mistake? What if it is a "nutter from Portland Down"? The attacks on Russia meant the expulsion of Diplomats, sanctions and general bad press for Russia. How can they go back on this? Can you climb down from such a thing? The whole thing, right from the start seems to have been poorly handled and used for Political gain, only now, well, maybe not so much. On Radio 4 this morning some "expert" was saying the Public risk was very low as none of this linked back to the previous incident. To me that makes it even worse because it means a fresh dose of the mildly sick inducing deadly chemical weapon is out there. How many more? How much could the "nutter from Portland down" have? RS With the previous incident I said follow the money and Portland down was the place to look these nerve agents arnt available at the corner shop someone knows where it’s coming from the entire economy of the area has just been trashed not to mention the potential disaster if it gets out of control (it is already) all the best of

RockySpears
Looks like the Gov. is doubling down: "Amesbury poisoning: Russia 'must explain nerve agent incident'". ie "We will not admit to being wrong, even if were are". https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-44727191 RS
Hamster
"Military" grade nerve agent thankfully yet again fails to kill ? you'd have to be super naive to think any of this has anything to do with Russia, isn't it a little odd that this substance can lie dormant for such long periods of time seemingly untouched by human hands ?!? Radio 4's "expert" this morning, said 4 months was more than enough time for nature to have washed all traces away. I do not think he realised this would NOT help calm the Public: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0b85mct#play 1h 43m 30s into the show Listening again they even say that you need to ingest the material, ie eat it. Yeah its probably just the government poisoning its own citizens to have a go at the Russians, backed up by the NHS Porton Down. the army, the police and numerous other agencies involved. ? As for Military grade nerve agent it depends on how much and how its administered, and how quick they receive medical care. Nah, I'd say it's Putin, he enjoyed such an easy win in the elections (because you know, the first poisoning did so much for his manly image back home) that he ordered another one right in the middle of pretty much the most successful World Cup in a generation just to put a slight brake on his country's positive image. ? I've always said it's "highly likely" it's not the government here but one of Russia's many enemies, mind you there is not much chance of some people here NOT being in on it. As for public services such as the police and hospitals............the ruse works best when only a tiny number of people know, in other words for all they're concerned they're dealing with a "terrorist" incident. So Russia's enemies are using nerve agents on British citizens, and the Government and all European countries that support the British governments version of events, are that incompetent that they think its the Russians, or are just go along with it to have a go at the Russians. Yes. The West's business model has depended on manufactured enemies for decades now. Governments wouldn't lose a seconds sleep over even the deaths of these poor souls, never mind injuring them for a few weeks and piling them up with some decent compo. They have knowingly and willingly sent British/American soldiers to their deaths over fake wars. Edited July 6, 2018 by Hamster
Lord Geordie
I was thinking perhaps these people found the vessel for carrying the agent involved in the first poisoning. As for the having to Eat it? Surely it can be deployed in a vapoured form and inhaled too? If these people found the vessel used to transport the agent, ***** about with it and got some on their hand, or breathed some in, it would explain the situation! This could be why they are appealing to members of the public not to pick things up? It seems odd in regard of the chap who created the agent quoting "there is no cure" and "if it's novochok, it kills in 100% of cases!" Then Skripal and his daughter miraculously walk out of hospital leads me to believe either A: it's not novochok! Or B: it IS novochok, but not of Russian manufacture!
