oowee
That is truly superb. I like it without the sills. Amazes me the dedication and hard work that some are prepared to put into one of these. Did you do the paint work yourself?

panoma1
Very, very nice! Did you keep an itemised record of the cost of the rebuild?....I bet that would be eye watering!

You will either drop dead from shock or your wife will issue divorce proceedings. 😁

Modafinale
Finished car next to a friends 10 month old Defender puma. Hopefully you liked what I did ! I was very proud of the car ! For all who asked about getting it muddy and using it for work 😩 The kick in the teeth was I split up from my wife about 2 months after completing the car ! Guess who has it now 😡

Modafinale
I Honesty have not got a clue who’s driving it, I know she still has it. But if it’s not enough they take 3/4 of the house that I had before we met the car I spent a year to build was a very nice touch 🤢 But life goes on. 😀 I’m happy And proud I built my own car, objects can be taken but memories are forever 🙂 Thank you all for looking at my pictures. The only way to do it looking forward and not back. I did the same in the past but all worked out well in the end. You can certainly be proud to have built your own car and what a super job you did on it. Would you do another?
Modafinale
Yes if I found another with a seized engine and rotted chassis for under a grand. i still have a Defender but only had a respray and upgrades. might eventually re-chassis it and put a newer tub rear fuel tank.
