With regards to him changing, I think that is inevitable

I would normally completely agree ..... but politicians (and I think particularly the very extrovert ones like Boris) are very thick skinned compared to us mortals.  The problem he may have is that he has to convince his party to agree to and 'apply' any changes that have happened to him personally - and that may be a challenge.

The sooner he is well enough to be back at the helm the better

Won't do him any harm being out the way for a few weeks,  let others field the questions.

I expected him to look really bad, but just looks tired.

It's going to be interesting. Among many things there will obviously be numerous enquiries and I would imagine Cummings, assuming he's still around, will really try to lay it on the civil service - it'll be interesting to see where Boris positions himself with this aspect in particular.

Excellent news indeed. Let’s hope his experience and gratitude finally  stops any rumours or plans to sell off the NHS to America..

Nah, that was just a lie concocted by Corbyn and Barry Gardiner to fool and frighten the less intelligent and more gullible voters. I remember Gardiner getting absolutely shredded by Andrew Neil when he tried to justify this lie. Gardiner also tried to claim pregnant women would be charged £15,000 for hospital births.

Nope. It was, and probably still is, a real plan. On my phone at the moment so haven't got the links handy for support but I'll put them up in the morning if you like.

Anyway,  it doesn't matter. If it happens it happens. Like the man said - toute nation a le gouvernement qu'elle mérite.
