Sciurus
Out early this morning- still raining.... Only saw 2 which were duly shot with.410. The female was gigantic but not obviously pregnant. Don’t know why it was so big, the hazel is long gone and very little beechmast/acorns here this year nor sweet chestnut. 3242

This blighter was quick up & down the feeder avoiding a large cock pheasant who wasn`t keen on sharing the same area. The air arms tx200 still doing the job. WalkedUp
About to shoot one this morning, then it spooked but I managed to catch up with it in the scope as it climbed through the dog rose. I was about to send the dog and then saw that it had been another squirrel that has me spooked the first one, not me. Killed that too and to top it off a magpie swooped onto the dead one. Twenty year old S410. 3263 Edited November 13, 2021 by WalkedUp
