Blackpowder
More bad news for the shooting community after one man was shot dead and three people injured in the Isle of Skye and mainland. A man was tasered and arrested following the incidents on Wednesday morning on three isolated communities on Skye and Lochalsh. Not known if the gun or rifle as a legally held weapon but there shall no doubt be fall out for the shooting community. Blackpowder. old'un
"Ian Blackford, the SNP MP for Ross, Skye and Lochaber, said he has been told 'there is one fatality'. 'I have been kept informed of the events and I understand a firearm and knives were involved. I have been told that there is one fatality and three injured. 'Firearm regulations are there for a reason and there must be a review of this incident to ensure if any lessons can be learned from it." According to the article it was a shotgun but no mention of it being held illegally or licenced, lets hope there's no knee-jerk reaction as happened with Dunblane and hand guns. Walker570
If Blackfords involved you can't expect anyhting sensible. His only response was to mention firearms, he didn't mention knives which had also been involved. Genghis
It’s been a year since Plymouth, so that’s back in the news too. I’d expect a lot of bad press over the weekend.
