Do you think pilots or sound person actually use or know what all the buttons and switches are for ? He would never fly on the budget airlines because he said you have no real idea who is sitting up at the pointy end. More importantly neither has the airline. However, we ‘all’ have to undergo the same training and checking. (caveat) In the World there are ‘National Airlines’ who’s ‘training’ or application of said training, leaves a little to be desired, it’s not always just ‘Budget’ ones.
