Stupid. UN trying to say we are been to hard on " just stop oil " protests

The UN is a hot air machine.  It is largely irrelevant and ignored.  There are a huge number of UN resolutions of which no one takes any notice.  I can't remember the exact details but concerning the following conflicts/subjects.

• Israel/Gaza - calls for ceasefire, more fuel/water deliveries/access for aid - ignored
• North Korea - ban on nuclear and missile testing - ignored
• Russia/Ukraine - calls for ceasefire/withdrawal from another country/exit from nuclear generation plants/spare civilian targets - ignored

and many others

it’s a waste of money on token gestures to keep the gullible quite call me picky but prefer not being robbed because burglars are free because protesters take cell space up

Call me picky, but I'd prefer them both locked up.
