Bought my Winchester sx3 from them a while ago.

Good to deal with imo.

My dad lives close to them and has had a couple of guns from there and I have had 1. Good selection of guns and nice blokes to deal with.

Bought a few guns off them spread over last 35 years,in person and RFD`d .Always faultless and sensible to deal with.

I stopped in on the way back from a Lake District holiday and bought my Gunmark Merlin 12b sbs from them. The fore-end wood was a little loose on the iron, and they said to see how I got on with it.

I wasn't 100% happy with it after a short while of use, sent it back, and it was fixed thoroughly and promptly and sent back to me. 

I was very happy and the shop itself was a lovely traditional Aladdin's cave of a gunshop, well-stocked and with friendly staff.  It'd be very hazardous for my bank balance if I lived nearer.

Had 2 guns from them.Very good service no pressure and as arjimlad said a proper alladins cave.Its a traditional gunshop in reality.

All positive from me.  The staff are friendly and give great advice ( if only I’d listen )

 

I drive past 2 other RFD’s to use Bamfords

nice to see good reveiws by all on a countryside buisness...........makes a nice posertive change...........we have a similar shop in Norfolk Richardsons run by Leon and his brother and son...i belive there is a very nice short film on the net about the shop

Yes bought about 4 guns from there over the years and took guns to be repaired, no complaints from me

I've been dealing with Bamfords for more than 15 years (since before the re-fit). Always had a good experience when in the shop.

Bought my 694 from them July last year. Traveled up fro Midlands as they had the Ltd Ed in LH. No discount to be had but nice staff and they didn't try to fool me with "it fits you lovely" etc.

I dread to think of how many guns I have bought from the shop since the late 1960's. The previous owner was a very fair guy to deal with. I hope he is enjoying retirement.
