Minky
Apparently McDonald's sales have been hit all over the world and the shares have dropped 4% by the ( younger customers) boycott over McDonald's perceived support of Israel and their conduct in the Gazza conflict. I quite like McDonald's strawberry milkshake BUT I don't go in and buy enough to offset the Boycot. I suppose it's the ultimate effect of market forces. Lloyd90
Bloody Hipsters! It’s “cool” to support the current trend and virtue signal. Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+, Extinction Rebellion, Isreal / Gaza. Most of them couldn’t tell you where the country even is and what the issues are. The same people who would be stoned to death in Gaza out with their free Palestine boards. They’ll move on to the new trendy cause before long. Will need a new Facebook or instagram pic.

Minky
Quite possibly. I did read that sales in the middle east had fallen through the floor. Still we would probably do the same if we saw countries similar to ours being carpet bombed. I wonder where the burger sales have migrated to.? Buřger King.? Ps. I think that the 4% share fall worries them more than a few less burger sales. Edited February 5 by Minky

This nails the whole of the 'progressive movement'.
Gordon R
McDonalds will survive longer than the virtue signalling numpties. A friend owns the franchise for three McDonalds restaurants, but hasn't been affected by this lunacy.

We had a vixen that was running us ragged until one late summer evening Oppo spotted some colour at the bottom of a banked hedgerow. Closer inspection - but not too close - revealed a load of Mac' wrappers/boxes. Sorted within a few evenings.
discobob
Called in at Moel Brace in Shrewsbury last month on the way to Sporting Targets - and saw a fox right by the McD's there who was probably in the best condition I have ever seen one. The next morning, while going from the Hotel to the ground, a fox ran across the road in front of us that was exceedingly scraggy
