steve_b_wales Posted June 13 Report Share Posted June 13 After hearing the song (on facebook) that Tom Jones sang at the DD events, I just gave a 'thumbs up'. Moving forward, I received a message via the 'Messenger' app from 'Tom Jones'. Since then, 'he' has asked me where I am from, and I replied, only a few miles up the road from where you lived (which is true) but 'Tom' didn't reply to that. I also said to 'Tom' that I supported (through my mental health work) the drummer who was in his band before he went solo. I know that person's name, but said to 'Tom' that I had forgotten, and could he remind me. No answer to that either! I've had messages from 'Tom' asking how long had I liked his music and also what songs of his did I like etc, to which I told him. Today, 'Tom' messaged me and said that 'he was really him' and then sent me a photo of his passport, which indeed looks genuine. These messages were then sent afterwards. This is not a trick question, it's just annoying me that I cannot remember the drummers name. 'Tom' I have a lot of Drummers don’t know the One you’re talking about! I replied back: Ah okay. If this will help, he was the drummer of the group that you were part of back in 1963 before you went solo. Once again, the name of the group/drummer I can't remember. Yes indeed. 'Tom' has now asked me (for the third time) where I am from. I replied that I have already told him where I am from and that he should recognise the name of the town. I always love coming to xxxx" it was actually him writing on her official sites on her behalf. He would chit chat with the fans who thought they were talking to her. More messages have been sent by 'Tom' and it's not him. I have asked numerous questions that 'Tom' should have been able to answer but couldn't.
