Hello, I do hope Trump will sort out Putin before he destroys so much more of Ukraine and murdered 1000s of innocent citizens

He cannot he is too close to Russia and is surrounded by Russian shill. Any doubt, take a look at the images of Trump at MSG with his cabinet picks. Only Mike Johnson has blamed Russia for the invasion and now needs to watch his mouth. Those cabinet picks refusing FBI vetting. UK will not be able to share intelligence as a result.

Russia is so close to the end, Ukraine needs to hold on just a bit longer. Yesterday I watched 200 to 300 Russian (Korean troops) attack in Urals trucks. No Armour no APC's they were mostly killed. Russian losses are staggering currently running at 700,000 lost, killed, captured or disabled (mostly none from Moscow or St Pete's). If they had enough men they would not import them. If they had enough armour they would not attack (against leopards) in soft skinned trucks). in Fighting has broken out with the Chechen leaders over the control of Wild Berries' (Russian Amazon) that was being controlled by Putin allies. The caucuses are rejecting Putin. The currency has crashed (1 rouble =1cent). The sanctions are working (if they were not Russia would not be squealing about stopping them).

Trump can only offer the surrender of Ukraine which they will not do. If Europe backs Ukraine which side will Trump choose? Remembering that Europe and the UK will go head to head with Trump on sanctions. We heard last week, from MAGA that maybe they should look to emulate EU food standards so maybe there is hope.

All this toing and froing over who did what and who's to blame. There's only one side that invaded the other and if that side pulls out, the war would end immediately. In my view that gives you the answer.

Classic strawman argument, ignore everything else as irrelevant but the facts that suit your point of view

War will end when Ukraine negotiates a surrender or is beaten completely.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Trump is going to disembowel the Ukrainians.

RFK is going to disembowel both big pharma and big Agricultural (Inc food processors and manufacturers)

Eon and Vivek are going to attempt to destroy the Military industrial complex.

Hegseth us going to gut the neocons out of the military command

Tulsi is going to do similar for Intelligence agencies

If the CIA etc can be stopped from funding revolutions, we won't get another Ukraine!

What gets me is Putin feels its OK to escalate using foreign assets: missiles and troops but bleats about Ukraine using foreign assets.

Agree, same that it’s ok for him to bomb the **** out of Ukraine but it’s a terror attack if inside Russia gets hit.

Programming is no different to assembling so we crossed that particular Rubicon 2 years ago.

Putin's logic constructs an argument that N Korea Iran and China are targets too now therefore...N Korean and Iran will probably get off on that idea whereas China is the adult in the axis of evil.

Trump is a bully like Putin so fundamentally a coward. You could see that cowardice in his meeting with Biden (as in so many actual meetings with people he's previously been vile about). A coward's settlement won't ultimately end in peace.

This is a thought provoking post and i think very true .

I.e. UK has 1 active battalion of tanks (circa 44) which sit on training ground and 3 battalions of mechanised troops rotate through the training ground using the same tanks. The others (another approximately 44) are mothballed and canabalised for parts, what are we going to fight with? We gave away all our self propelled artillery, we gave away our stormshadows, we gave away our ammo stockpiles, armoured vehicle stock piles, thankfully we have only given them 2 of our 4 mine sweepers, etc etc

We gave our old heavy lumps away. Rapid, further, agile, more productive and geographically unpredictable are current trends for 'heavier' equipment in the age of systems like Excaliber. Perhaps another layer is about due for the survivability 'onion'. If you must be there don't be where you were a minute ago! Archer is a classic example. The 14 systems are more than an equivalent for the 20 functioning AS90's we donated.

We also gave our life expiring stuff away too.

Of course none of this is important to those with tendencies towards vassalage.

Coming up three years. Just how much longer does Ukraine have to hold on? I recall alleged experts saying Putin was near death a couple of years ago. Whilst I hope I am wrong, I share Stonepark's pessimistic view that Ukraine surrenders or gets beaten, if Trump pulls the plug.

Trump may just withdraw funding and it will be up to the Ukraine to decide if they can continue. I suspect they will have little alternative to settlement, unless Europe makes up any shortfall. Although Biden appears to have given the go ahead to use long range missiles, I suspect that won't happen. If it does, I fear the worst for Ukraine.

All on behalf of Putin? Looks like it. This will pitch Europe against the US. Putin is out of touch with reality (sacking generals this week misreporting the facts). Putin has too many internal enemies loosing too much money his days like those of any dictator are numbered.

Putin of course gave security guarantees to protect Ukraine in return for it's nukes.  As did the US. One side is sticking to the agreement.

Europe has a population of around 740 million and a GDP 8-10 times greater than Russia.  If Europe can't step up then it does it deserve a happy ending?

Russia is at the end of cash, armour and men. Ukraine has plenty apart from men but is fighting for it's survival.

How long can Putin survive? If he cannot win he cannot survive. He clearly does not have enough resources to win. Three years on and he depends on N Korea to continue.

Let's not bother with trials - better to move straight to a guilty verdict.

Arson attacker went to trial pleaded guilty. DHL bombers going to trial in Poland and Lithuania. Scripol poisoners awaiting capture hopefully traded as part of Russian reparations.

Note to Putin (and others) - very few dictators live to old age.  Their demise is usually painful, humiliating and terrifying for them.

This .....and what oowee said.............its the Russian economy ...and the deaths of their sons and daughters (who are very internet savy)...and the constant murmerings of the Generals ...that is going to bring Putin to a close...........

every morning when i wake up and turn on various news channels....i am expecting to see either

  1. a completed bloodless coupe

     2. a vicious ongoing bloody fight within Russia

the young people of Russia know what the West is like and they want back in............

on a tangent ....i have read that the North Koreans are having a wonderful time on the front in Ukraine ..where they are revelling in unfetted access to the internet and are experiencing the joys of free porn .....

it has been reported that they are phyisically knocking themselves out in the trenches pulling one or 2 out now and again.......
