Official advice is to ‘stay indoors’ and away form the coast, especially in N.Ireland. Camera cuts to outside reporter on the coast! 🤷‍♂️

Local news has a reporter also urging folks to adhere to advice to stay away from the coast….outside on Whitehaven harbour! 😄

Nagas at it too; please can we urge you to follow advice to stay indoors….’and now to our N.Ireland correspondent ….. ‘ Guess where she is!
Hilarious!

Hello, This was aired on News Watch recently, Some viewers asked the same question ?? Seem BBC reporters are immune from Storm Damage, Over the last few years the BBC have become very complacent in news broadcasting , Much like the  TXT alert sent to millions of UK residents on the Storm when it was forecast for Northern Ireland and Scotland

This is the covid power over the people hangover, everywhere is shut in n.ireland, tescos sainsburys filling stations everything! My village shop is closed even tho the staff live in the village and walk 200yds to get to it!!

We have constant alerts to our phones, its a ruddy storm we get it,but now this government has to tell you what you can and cannot do ( allowed) they have been very "crafty" they have announced it in such a way that your insurance providers are entitled to deny your policy if your driving today, we cant stop you but your not insured if you do! Shower of ####!

But hey, im at work by the coast its blowing and peeing it down, why? Cause i work for myself dont do social media so no need to bow to peer pressure and nobody pays me to sit at home!!!!

Oh and as a bonus my power is out at home but not where im working!!...lol

Sadly common sense isn’t something everyone has . I did a nights fishing a few years ago on a day ticket near me during a bad storm there was a swim I wanted to fish but chose not to because of a large tree that looked a bit dodgy. So I fished the opposite side of the lake in a safe spot. A couple of hours later a couple of people turned up and one of them set up in the swim with the tree in it , right underneath it . A few hours later the tree blew over and I saw it go I thought **** he’s splattered. Luckily for him he had just got out a couple of minutes before to get a bacon sandwich. Reckon his mate and bacon sandwich saved his life .

Rough enough here from 4am this morning. Calming down now, fair bit of damage around the country from I can see, been sent pictures and chatting to lads I work with there have had serious damage nearby.

But yes, Don't go looking for trouble and generally it won't find you.
