Cranfield
I can't stand the bloke, the programme isn't about fishing, its all about him. He hasn't got a clue.
Zapp
What, you dont like the way he screams and hoots and lurches about like a giant 5 year old after too much cherryade every time he catches a fish? Seriously though, the guy is a nugget ZB

Seriously though, the guy is a nugget ZB You got it in a nutshell Zapp. I stopped watching John Wilson because his constant 'ho, ho, ho' laugh every time he got a bite got my hackles up. After watching Robson Green - come back John, all is forgiven!

lancashireunter
Dont start on Wilson he was a legend!!! He was my childhood hero. I sent him a letter (I was about 8 at the time!) to see if he wanted to come fishing with me on our local pit and all he sent me was an autograph. Yeah ok he was a ***** I agree!! Robson really got on my nerves when he was fishing at the bottom of Niagra falls, and all he could do was whine like a bored kid because he wasnt catching straight away. If I was the guy who had taken him out I would of thrown him in, ungrateful ***! And if I ever hear the bloke say "yeah man" again i,ll put my foot through the telly. Wookie
I still have an autographed photo of John Wilson somewhere from the Suffolk Show when I was a lad. The man's a legend.

Spaniel
He caught some good fish last night but again at one stage he was either to tired to sit next to the rod or to tired to wind the fish in, but after all he is only an actor
Dunkield
Exactly, I don't dislike many people on TV he is waste of space. There are other people they could have used for this. After the abuse he got on his own website after the first series I thought he would have learnt - apparently not. A wasted opportunity to make a good fishing series IMHO. Chard
I could rant forever about Wilson I like that Brummie that fishes with Matt Heyes. He's an unassuming sort of all-round good bloke
Toombsy
That's Mick Brown - he lives just up the road from me. Of all the many top anglers I've done features with, he's one of the very best. And as regards Green.... no-one in the angling industry will touch him now... not after he stated during a BBC interview that 9 out of every ten fish that are caught and released, soon die afterwards. LXX73
Robson Green is without doubt the gayest man on TV. Incessantly whining away like a complete wetboy.
Kron
You want to watch Geoffery Palmer in The Compleat Angler on Discovery Shed. I think that captures the essence of river (the Dove in this case) fly fishing for trout perfectly. Note river not those pseudo-rivers they call 'chalk streams' that seem to get all the press
Cushat
Anyone remember the original "Extreme Fishing" series with Joe Brown the climber? Must have been 15 years ago and on BBC2 I think - climbing and abseiling about to get into remote spots.
al4x
If you think he's bad have a look at this clip from the American version!!
luckytrigger
The guy is a real bell end.. I watch the programme for the locations he gets to fish but find him so annoying. He just comes across as a real soft pansy who always has to mention the fact that he's an 'actor' in each episode ...
