  1. I’m taking precautions, I will be putting a sun shade on the tractor roll hoop whilst cutting the grass. I may even put some shorts on
  2. Any of these tickle your fancy? springers £60 each Smk 20, kral no1. co2 £60, ultra mmc single shot, it’s been sat a while so Don't really know what it’s worth! all.22 in pudsey so you can come and have a look if you want.
  3. The only tents I don’t see in the bin at work are air beam tents and the outwell ones with big steel poles. vango will do repairs and parts on tents which is nice the rest are mostly disposable it seems these days. I do see people with punctures in airbeam tents from time to time so a repair kit or spare beam would be a worthwhile investment if you get one of those and if all the beams are the same then that would be a bonus if one fails. if you want to go really out there then there are some cool brands like tentipi which will last a lifetime over the nylon types and the bell tent type is huge at the moment but don’t get a Chinese one as the quality can be a bit off. BCT tents make pretty much anything you want but the cost is high but there British made and bomb proof! They bought our relum and still wonder if they have the rights to the air rifles.
  4. Dripping is the best tasting but for home frying peanut oil is the best but expensive. simply cannot beat digging up your own potatoes and have them in the fryer within 30 mins of excavation!
  5. Don’t know if your still looking but there are two in the holts sealed bid auction.
  6. Just fill the tyres with hydrogen sulfide and wait for the reaction when they try and let them down.
  7. This was many many moons ago but I have actually worked with Michaela Strachan and I did make a compliment to a fellow worker about her backside and she overheard me and I got a right roasting for it! those were the days
  8. From what little I know the only thing you can do is get the no claims evidence from the policy you are dropping and when you renew the other one submit the evidence and you will them bump up the remaining policy to whatever the other one was. Not that it makes much difference these days!
  9. You can use a plastic milk bottle cut up into a strip as a temp fix.
  10. I have been running a gys 160a mig for a few years now and it’s had a fair amount of wire through it and I cannot fault it so far, not the cheapest but not silly money and at least they apparently own the Chinese factory and not just outsourcing the work to the lowest bidder for the low to mid range units.
  11. Looking at the quality of the brickwork it will fall down of its own accord soon.
  12. I have a kral n-01 in .22 which I don’t need any more, shortish barrel and decent open sights. Would be a good ratter looking for £60 if your interested.
  13. I have this cartridge bag which has torn and was glued back together but split again and it been sat around for ages waiting for me to fix it! if anyone wants it then let me know by the end of the week or it’s going in the bin. No strap just the bag. I can post it for £3 if anyone is interested.
  14. Finished length matters on old marlins as they do not have what I would call a bullet stop so when the lifter is in action it relays on the round being the right length and not letting the next round onto the lifter and jamming it, some winchesters had this addition but I cannot remember when they put it in. a look in the action may yield the answer if there is a mechanism to stop the next round getting onto the lifter and if so the finished length is less important but it still may not cycle every time as there would not be a nice shaped bullet in the end of the case to guide it into the chamber. sounds like a fun project anyway and would be interested in finding out if you get it working. Out of interest is it held on s2 or s58 and going to put it on s2 if you get it working?
  15. https://forum.cartridgecollectors.org/t/9x19-airmunition/23845 quite a bit of info on another forum about them.
  16. Hi there are no markings on either the carts or the boxes as to what weight the 16 bore carts are sorry.
  17. Had a clear out today and have these for sale, first is a full slab of 250 hull three crowns in 16 bore still in its original outer case and only opened to check the contents. £60 second is a real mixed box of all sorts, 28, 16 and 20 paper and plastic some really old and some quite new. £50 collection from pudsey just outside Leeds or I will be in Norwich next weekend so could meet up there. sgc holders only. if you want them please state on here followed by a pm to arrange collection.
  18. Can you back this up with evidence? Don’t want anyone getting into hot water, as far as I know it is still illegal to sell or pass on anything other than a current eu deact.
  19. Most people seem to have success with rws superdomes in the older larger bore guns.
  20. Duck hunt is the best and the only game I have played, after that I lost interest in games!
  21. There are a couple of rifle conversions at the wilson55 auction but there already sky high on price
  22. My guess would be that it’s eaten some sheep raddle and that’s the result.
  23. I have never seen greta clungebergs mum but is that her?
