Aigle "Gore-Tex" mid hiking/hunting boots, up to date equivalent is the 'ALTAVIO'. UK size 9.5 but more like a snug size 10. They are very comfortable, warm and dry. These have only been worn for short shooting sessions on muddy fields and cleaned using only water and a brush, and no treatments have been applied. The uppers show small amounts of wear, but the treads look brand new. I'm asking for £75 incl postage or £70 picked up from DA10.

Did anyone see this? It’s currently on iPlayer if you’re interested. Seeig as it is BBC I expected a one-sided attack on the hunt but I was actually surprised. I felt it came down on the other side and made the hunt look very respectable. The fact that the hunt did not wish to take part in the programme led the makers to interview hunt supporters in the street, all of whom were young, articulate and likeable characters. There was no sign of a posh vs working class divide in the characters they picked to narrate the story. The sabs were made out to look like heroes but in reality I think the footage they chose made them look like the terrorist law breakers they are. I thought it was good for the hunt but I’d be interested in your views in case my personal feelings led me to form a conclusion that wasn’t there in reality.

Are you from Scotland and enjoy spending time in the countryside? Then you could help me with my dissertation by filling out this survey! The survey is completely anonymous and should only take a few minutes of your time. The aim of the study is to find out Scottish people’s attitudes towards wolves and any groups of people that may conflict with wolves if they were released into the Scottish countryside. The study is purely hypothetical and is not related to any real wolf reintroduction project but aims to investigate this relatively new area of discussion. I am myself not for or against the reintroduction of wolves to Scotland, this is just an area of interest with relatively little recent research. Thank you for any replies. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=-rKZc65vv0mnaFhQugcXP4hCSKZq3-pDkKNgciG031JUNkw3R1JXRUZZSEM2QzMzNEJOVVZOWkRZVi4u

Just curious to see what types of manual calls you guys are using If you have ever thought about getting into the use of call's would really like to hear peoples opinions on calls in regards to the imported calls that are all factory injection moulded and the hand turn custom side.

Hello i am new to this and don't have great knowledge when it comes to guns. So would highly value anyone opinion. I am looking a Air Arms TX200HC and i live in Northern Ireland so all air Guns have to be applied for and put on license unlike e.g. England where you can buy sub 12ft lbs without a license. I have to get it on the license either way so would it be best while im at it to go FAC? or is 12ft lbs best? I think if the limit was 14ft lbs then not too many would choose 12ft lbs. This all arose as i searched to see what calibre was best .177 or .22 and i discovered that .177 has longer range and less bullet drop but lacks the punch of the .22 when hunting. But the .22 Has less range and more bullet drop. It would be ideal if i could get a .22 in FAC to do similar range and bullet drop as the .177 but still deliver the punch. I heard that some FAC air guns tend to make the bullet spiral which would not be good as i don't want to pay good money for TX200 (one of the most accurate springers available) And then ruin accuracy with pellet spiral. Power is pointless if you can't hit your target! Anyone with experience of any of this would be HUGELY appreciated!

OK, for the last 35 years I have shot Weirauch rifles with 22. I have just ordered a hw97kt to complement my hw100. Only I have decided to go for 177 since it is flatter out to 35m. The order will go to hull cartridge on Monday so I have two days and cold feet. Accuracy is everything right? So 177 should take down rabbits easily enough. Can I find some experiences from 177 hunters. No problem knocking them over? Anyone using 177 for hunting please convince me I am not being an idiot!!

Hello there! Just looking a little bit of advice on a custom stock that i am looking to get for a TX200HC. I have already decided from the optional extras that i want a Rosewood Cap on the pistol grip +£20. Unsure about Skip Checkering vs Stippling? I definitely don't want standard checkering. (Find myself leaning towards skip checkering instead of Stippling) Any advantage of one over the other or is it all just look? Any pics of your Skip checkered or Stippled Air Rifles would be really cool and give me a better comparison between the two. Skip Checkered +£12. Stippling +£15. And the last optional extra is Adjustable Recoil pad... Any real advantage of this in the field? as it is mainly hunting that i will be doing. Adjustable Recoil Pad +£30 Also the adjustable pad is bannana shaped (prob not official description) as opposed to flat. Does this make it sit in your shoulder better? Thanks in Advance!!!

Hi guys, This is the only scenario where i would carry knives: - 2 opinels (lock knives) and 1 Elk ridge 12.5” Bowie (fixed blade) will be taken to the field from my owned property in the boot of my car in my field bag. - When i arrive at the land (where i have permission from the land owner to shoot) i attach 1 opinel in a pouch to my belt and the bowie in a sheath to my belt. - I mainly hunt pigeon, rabbit, pheasant and duck (both in season of course and not on a Sunday). - When im done for the day i put the knives back in my bag in the boot of the car and i drive home. IS THIS LEGAL?? IS MY REASON OF HUNTING A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO CARRY THESE KNIVES? Links for the 2 knives are: http://www.bladesandbows.co.uk/elk-ridge-125-bowie-knife-5961 http://www.uttings.co.uk/p104756-opinel-classic-originals-high-grade-carbon-steel-knife/#.VK8TISihxic Thanks in advance for any comments
