wingnut Posted February 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 6, 2012 Just an up date, I had the operation on 27th January under local anaesthetic and it took about 15 mins to remove the lump and surrounding tissue, the specialist sent the offending item off to be analysed, but he is convinced that it will be ok and i should not need any further treatment, however he did warn me that the scar will not look pleasant when it fully heals and that the skin cancer could grow back in a few years time, if it does then they will cut some more out, and i informed him that he is to keep cutting until its all gone. Thanks for all the messages of support ladies and gentleman of pigeon watch, its really meant a lot to me to know so many people care.
