He called somebody a ******. Big deal. I get called far worse every day and don't run about crying like a bitch. Best of luck JT :good:

Let's not condemn the man just yet as he may well be found not guilty. But, just out of interest what do you get called on a daily basis that is worse than (you ********* black ****)?

Presumably when being called these things they're not inches away from your face and snarling at the same time?

I remember my RSM calling me a pathetic little ***** who has no right to breath the air on this planet and should be buried 20 feet under with all the other pathetic little **** and that I wasn't fit to be seen on his parade ground....... All this whilst 1.5 inches from my face and spitting all over me! And all because I hadn't done a very good job of shaving my beret!

Perhaps I should have called the police!

Bloody PC gone wrong... guarantee everyone would have just had a good chuckle if he had called Terry a 'honky' in a similar manner!

Probably doesn't happen much in canterbury, but many parts of N.I. things are very...VERY different

You can't beat a bit of banter. I've got a few mates who have tinted skin, good as gold they are. Ofcourse they give as good as they get especially as they know my Norfolk background goes back to 1463.

From where i'm sitting things don't half get blown out of proportion. I've got more issues with some of the foreign whites that live around here for sure.

Just because it happens on the streets is no reason to be happy about it, as you appear to be.

A good friend of mine had endless 'banter' and abuse about his colour from 'scrowts' who happened to be in his class.

When he objected they gave the usual bullies response of "What's up with you - can't you take a joke?".

Cretins.

I am sorry but there is absolutely no excuse for racism. Its abhorrent in every form. John Terry is a figure who is in the public eye who children and adults alike idolise. He should know better.

As to some of the comments on here about its only a laugh and PC gone mad, you should have your heads read. Its disgusting end of story.

I do wonder sometimes

Presumably you believe in the rule of democracy and law, if so then why have YOU decided he is guilty before his trial. This is just not on and shows you to be prejudiced and unfair towards the said Mr Terry. Leave it to the 12 members of the jury and keep your big opinions to yourself until the verdict!!!

Sorry mate... but if a coloured bloke turned round to me and, violently, or jokingly called me a white honky whatever... that is racism, just as it would be the other way round... would I go to the police or expect him to be prosecuted? no... just as I wouldn't if he called me a fat *******... apart from the fact that it is true... it really wouldn't offend me to the point of wanting someone charged and prosecuted for it.

If he did this on tv during an interview then yes.. consequences.... fines... sacking (as you say, he is in the public eye) but even then prosecute for calling someone a name ???

We live in a country with such double standards!!! It even filters down to my wife... It's ok for her to wake me up at 4 in the morning for a quick **** but when I try it I get a slap and told to get back to sleep and stop being stupid!!!

If there's one thing I can't stand it's double standards and this case just highlights it.... The whole 'is it 'cos I is black' thing gets right on my moobs!

It is a spectator who called the police and made the complaint not the footballer who was or wasn't racially abused so all the comments about just take it on the chin as a joke dont really fit here.

It has been harder for me to actually see the video than it was to find about Ryan Giggs months before it became a rumour on the internet.Quite worrying really how the FA has shut down any site that plays it.But then again when they've kept the names of five premiership players who have been found to have been using cocaine quiet it doesn't surprise me.

This is the sixth recorded time JT has supposedly done this to black players, these you can see on the internet for now.

It just shows how racism is ignored by the FA which isn't on in my opinion.

The fact he has done it and is captain of the England team when British soldiers of all colours are fighting and dying overseas. What must they think fighting for the same flag?

He should get a lifetime ban from all football for two reasons, one for the reasons above and two because he's rubbish.

Hatstand

Here here...couldnt agree more...having a laugh and joke with a friend is one thing but no one should have to suffer vitriolic criminal racist verbal abuse from another Human being (if indeed Terry is one)whilst going about their occupation.

If he is guilty then he he will be punished according to the Law of the Land...

Like I said what goes around comes around.

Sadly it seems that many cannot differentiate between the very basic morals and think its acceptable to allegedly racially abuse someone different to them...thats very worrying and illustrates how we have degenerated as a species in the last 25 years.

I dont care what they do in Ireland but this is England...and Captain of the English National Game...

If he is Guilty. and I would suggest the CPS must be pretty confident of their position.. we could be looking at an exemplary custodial sentance...

No you assume wrong, i am all up for trial by internet and i am currently lighting the fires and picking him out a suitable stake as i type.

There is no justification for racial abuse, full stop. The OP is of the same opinion, but some on here think its somehow ok?

Strange ?
