stubby
I used one of those electric gizmo's, gave up for 7 whole weeks, but put on a few lbs, ate lots of bikkies, but was weak and gave up, happily typing this whilst rolling a ciggy, lol
la bala
stay with it mate, i am nearly 70, have smoked all my life, if you could see what i cough up sometimes, you would never smoke again.
FalconFN
Good luck pal, I gave up 10 years ago and haven't looked back - well the odd ciggy once in a while. The only way to stop smoking is to want to stop. If you are doing because you 'should' then it won't work. If you want to do it it is actually really easy after the first week or two. Get through this week and the hard part is over and you'll have spare cash for more guns.
Breastman
Stick with the e-cigs, i've been on them for 6 months and not looked back! If the one you're using at the moment isn't 'doing it for you' get stronger e-liquid/cartomisers. I use 18mg ones when i'm having a drink as i can't feel the normal strength ones
fenboy
Just think how many more pigeons you will get to miss as you will not be busy "rollin a fag" when they come into the pattern

polester
I am going for it again, 3rd time lucky and am determined to do it this time after seeing a relative in hospital on oxygen. I have promised myself a new gun if I can last a year with out a cig, but I know what you mean about being grumpy and hungry. The electric cig seams to work to ease the cravings and chill me out so will see how it goes

neil3728
Good luck, my mum tried a few times to give up (even tried hypnosis) and always went back. It wasn't until a good friend of hers dropped down dead one day with a massive heat attack, that she decided enough was enough. (her friend was in his early 50 and was not fat, just unhealthy eating and smoking) She has not touched one since.

Bloke
Good luck, stick with it, you'll be ok in a couple of weeks. I kept putting it off - ended up smoking for 40 years, then ended up on an operating table 5x as well as chemo, with smoking related cancer, rest of my life with regular checkups. Wish I'd never started now, but feel loads better now I have quit, and the cash saved pays for loads of ammo! Stick at it, all the best..... OddJob
Not smoking makes you sexier to women, stoats and turnips, true fact. Go for it chimp! Smoking gives you nothing apart from cancer and a dented wallet.
alexf
Well done, I've been off them ten days now. First five where the hardest in terms of moodiness wife just put up with it. bruno22rf
Man up and quit bellyaching about quitting - If you want to do it then get on with it-the fact that you are talking about it shows that its getting the better of you-who is in control here? gixer1
Do stick at it as there are an awful lot of benefits but I am now at two or three years stopped and I have to say I don't actually feel any healthier! I seem to catch any cold/flu going and I put on 2 1/2 stone which I just can't shift.... But the smell alone is reason enough to stop!
