motty
I haven't really got a favourite cartridge. I've used dozens of different ones over the years and they all do a job. The cartridge I have been using to good effect for the last year or two is the Rio target loads, 28gm of continental 7.5s.

JDog
My favourite cartridge is the one which kills the pigeons stone dead. This however is a rarity.

fenboy
Whats the best in steel .. size wise/price/availabilty etc If you want normal steel I would stick to gamebore , but normal steel is a poor alternative to HP steel . If you want HP then again gamebore mamouth , Eley lightning is very good , Remington is also very good but expensive at £25 odd quid a box.
