djgeoff
well was out at 5.30am last Sunday after few bunnies, felt rather unwell got to my car, i had no moby because its broken and gone in for repair. i was in the middle of nowhere, i wait for while for weird feeling to ease off, thought i need to get home took a very slow and steady drive home as i neared home chest felt tight. i thought this is getting serious, got in house 999 , ambulance paras were brill , i must have been going on about gun in boot and my dog getting out because they took care of that as well by seeing a nieghbour. anyway today after being asked to attend hospital they reckon i am almost definitely had small heart attack . so no driving, no strenuous work etc, on asprin, satins, and a spray in again next week for some sort of camera jobby on heart etc. so no shooting cant drive
TbirdX
****** as it is, be thankful it was a small one and you got away with it. :-) Hope it all goes well and you'll be back shooting before you know it.
pigeon controller
It's one of my wife's fears that I will have a event during my pastimes, shooting and fishing. I hope all is well when you attend your scan, just a warning to change you lifestyle .
malkiserow
Let's hope this was so minor it was like a warning and you now have full medical support to sort you out and avoid anything more serious. All the best fella

Les*1066
On the bright side, Geoff, at least you're still here to talk about it! Just follow doctor's orders and hopefully a little one will never become a big one!

TriBsa
It may seem bad at the moment. But draw on the positive, you got a warning. Many don't. Make the lifestyle changes necessary and follow doctor's orders. Good luck!

Make the lifestyle changes necessary and follow doctor's orders. Good luck! Quite rightno more flags, or booze. Cut out red meat, in fact become a vegan. Don't get over excited so no shooting and stop watching porn.not necessarily in that order. You should soon be feeling great. Atb and good luck. vole
Did you get an angiogram ? A few years ago you would have been packed off home witha bunch of pills only to return in a bad way . Now we make a big fuss on 1st admission and discharge you only when reasonably sure you are ok . Take care .

FalconFN
Crikey. In a funny way this is a blessing in disguise as you (and the doctors) know that there is a issue and you can do something about it before it gets much worse. Good luck and take it easy. vole
They must be happy with you to have let you home awaiting the angiogram . Maybe the enzyme test showed normal levels ? . Everyone gets angios now . There is no substitute for seeing your coronary arteries on x ray so you can have the right treatment . Or no treatment even . All the best .
