rimfire4969
Both do the same job, I shoot Clear Pigeon because my local dealer stocks them, but if he had the Hulls in instead I would buy them. Get the bird in the centre of pattern and it will be dead with either.
Prawn
Both very good cartridges, but clear pigeon because they are cheaper

Think we knew what 123pigeonkiller meant. I find the gamebore a better cartridge mate, I just ain't a fan of hull cartridge, never have been. You could try say 100 of each? motty
I would choose pretty much any shell that is loaded with 28-32gm of 7.5 through to 5 shot and just get on with it.

hoggysreels
Terry, the amount of Crows you hit, l dont think a particular brand matters when you point your shotgun "they're brown bread" ..

Motty I think your statement should be pinned lol, do have my favorites though, but love using the 7 1/2,s on the pigeons , it saves me a packet, have to say the clear pigeon 6,s pattern well through my gun atb Evo
Longchalk
+1 for Clear Pigeon 6's. Either 30g or 32g, and preferably fibre wads. That said I just used a slab of Rio Game 6's, which are pretty cheap, and couldn't tell any difference. The ones I hit were killed, the ones I missed weren't. Uncle Albert
Have to say Gamebore as the Hulls don't seem to like to cycle through my semi-auto.
Essex Ed
Have to say Gamebore as the Hulls don't seem to like to cycle through my semi-auto. +1 But I'd also add Gamebore Velocity 29gram 6s. Cheaper than the Clear Pigeon and do the same job. (previously called Kent Velocity) Excellent cartridge.
NickB65
GAMEBORE for me 32g no 6 although you can get away with lighter loads and smaller shot size. Get the bird in the middle of the pattern and it will be dead... :-) As for Bubba's comment about spelling - not everyone if good at spelling but what puts people off posting and joining in are people like you who feel it is there duty to correct people in a non-constructive way. If you can not say anything constructive then keep it too yourself. Edited August 1, 2014 by NickB65
