wraivi
Cold beef, or pastrami, with gherkins & black pepper, and a smear of horseradish or mustard. Any sarnies requiring cucumber, jalapeños or gherkins go soggy, so I make them up, meat only and put said culprits above in a little tupper jobby, and when its chow time, put them in...nice and crunchy and no soggy bread. Kes
All great sammiches. My grandfathers favourite was one he used to go fox hunting with it was called a jehovahs witness - thick white bread, a half inch slice of cheddar cheese and a half inch layer of beetroot. I think the occasion made it special for him. I love cold broken peppered mackerel fillet on lettuce with hellmans. Alternative is prawns. Or MARMITE !
