Cranfield
Gamebore Clear Pigeon 12ga 30gm No6 felt £210 per 1000 Gamebore Hushpower 20ga 30gm No5 felt £291 per 1000 Gamebore Traditional Game 20ga 28gm No6 felt £245 per 1000 I can remember reading about a year ago that cartridges prices should fall as lead prices fall. Lead now seems to have dropped to where it was in 2010( http://www.kitcometals.com/charts/lead_historical_large.html 5 year lead spot) , but cartridges prices still seem to be rising. Perhaps people are hoarding lead-shot cartridges before they are banned. Are those justcartridges prices above including delivery?
aris
Atkin Grant & Lang have an offer on Romagnola Fibre Wad 7.5 24g @ £155/1000 I've never heard of them - they appear to be Italian. 24g not the same as 28g - but would think good enough for clays. Anyone used them?

Whitebridges
I thought i'd try a slab of Romagnola (they're are made by RC). I picked 'em up from Just Cartridges on my way down to Devon. The 30g six and a half load is perfect for pigeons. I think I paid about £55 which is a bit over the top by the look of things.
dipper
If you buy a slab your going to pay than a 1000 price. If cashs the problem buy 1000 with a few friends. dipper.

These days, I don't know of any shops around me that give any discount for bulk buys. Saying that, I would say that shells are fairly cheap around here. I think the Clever 28gm 7 were £152 a thousand when I last popped in to buy some.

mickyh
I picked up 1000 Hull comp x 28gms,7.5 fibre for £160 on Saturday. Thats £4 a box. What a lovely cartridge, soft as muck on the shoulder, bit like Impacts back in the day. They smash clays if you point right ! I'm hooked, I'll be getting more.
