billytheghillie
I am in the process of changing truck and phoned my insurer Adrian Flux. They gave me a price of £564 my present insurance with them is £310. Had a quote online with LV and they come up with £268. Should I stay loyal or should I switch and save £296 to spend on other goodies
wisdom
Switch if the cover is the same or better. Some don't cover off road so best to check

TONY R
Weve been with LV a good few years now they are cheap dependent on your postcode, one point about LV is when they send out the renew quote, dont simply use it, buy your insurance from them online as and when its due saves money we found. Twistedsanity
Flux will match that quote, I use them for both cars and they always match any cheaper quote for renewal

Scully
I shop about each year and often after finding the cheapest will call another and tell them 'if you can beat that I'll insure with you'....not all can but some do. " You can take the dog for a walk it,s peeing down here" & hung up.
chesterse
Found LV to be very good, if ever you have any claims etc they deal with the whole thing. I found with one insurance I had with the Post Office when my wife had an accident I had to deal with five or six different parties and was the only person coordinating it. JDog
I would shop around. As an aside, Flux has the shooting on an estate three miles from here.
wigeon jim
I had to change away from LV as they will not cover a duel cab pickup for some reason, had to move to commercial cover elsewhere, Jim.
Lord Geordie
Ring flux back and tell them you are leaving them and they should better it. Not always! I got a quote for a Pug 406HDI from Aviva and my insurance went from £300 fully comp to £800. I rang about and found a company operating out of Gibralter who quoted me just over £300 as the car was substancially larger than my Astra I thought that was ok. I rang Aviva and they just had a hey ho attitude and couldn't even got close to it. Another was some bint wentointo the back of me and I lost nearly 15 years no claims. My insurer gave me a renewal from £270 to £950 per year. I rang them and asked them what they were playing at and was told not only gig I lose my no claims, but they only give 3 years as full. so I only had 2 years. plus the incident logged on my record and that was the best offer they could find ANYWHERE on the internet and I should take it After an hour shopping around I found a quote INC commuting to work for £390. I rang the company and gave them all the info including the incidednt and was the quote correct? It actually went down a further £10 Insurance is a license to print money IMHO. Twistedsanity
Flux send a leaflet out with all renewals now guaranteeing to match any other price
billytheghillie
Flux will match that quote, I use them for both cars and they always match any cheaper quote for renewal Phoned flux back, and guess what, he matched the quote, so just stuck with him. Had my insurance with him for a while now, and I know him personally as he fishes my beat on river and invites me down to Gayton once a year to shoot partridges.
