team tractor
Tonight I went and sat in the spot the camera showed the muntys appearing. After 2 1/2 hours it started to rain and just as I was giving up this little man showed his face 15/20 yards. I waited for him to walk further as he was 3 yards at one point but was sneaking back in so had him

team tractor
Howa 223 rem. in the end it's 3" low at this range shooting down. I wasn't happy with the shot but I shot what I could see around the tree. It dropped like a stone and the landowner is really happy as they are eating everything he plants . Dougy it was 7:30 when I shot it just like the camera said but I was there for 5:00in the seat . I'm going to look at using hollow point as I've lost a bit of meat . spandit
I've only ever seen one muntjac and I used a hollow point .223 on him Went right through, I recall (shot through the heart). What bullet were you using? I can't find hunting bullets locally - they all seem to be varmint or FMJ.

I use Winchester varmint x as they shot superb in my gun. It made a right mess but I enjoy the fillet and back legs
team tractor
I guess I'm fortunate I don't pay and in the last two trips I've had a munty and 6 bunny . The landowner is brilliant and I go when I want really.

If you don't reload find some 50/55gr Soft Point Ammunition also you may have the same result with Hollow Point Ammunition a Very messy damaged Carcass. Good luck with future outings

Good luck with future outings I like American eagle hollow points but haven't found a soft point the howa liked. It was the exit where the leg was lost so a hell of a mess :( Future outings I guess this week end as he wants a few gone. Cheers
FOXHUNTER1
You need to use soft points as hollow points cause too much damage also.
