grrclark
I was expecting longer, thought 9 months would have been appropriate. Poor leadership once again.

grrclark
He is a good man Felly, but has rode his luck for a long time. I had high hopes for him, but a track record of bad leadership decisions in his wake.

Flashman
Regardless of his politics, Cameron has more class than many posters on this forum, having read some of the crass comments on this thread. We would be living under a Brown/Milliband government if he hadn't beaten them both in general elections.

Gordon R
I didn't agree with David Cameron on this issue and had hoped that he would have stuck around to try to re-unite the country. I think he has taken the soft option. That said, he wasn't all bad.

toontastic
Unfortunately this is not what the country needs at this time. Instead of the political elite stabilising the ship they will be rocking the boat with a leadership contest. They should have sailed us through the choppy waters ahead first and then made changes to the leadership structure of both main parties when the future of an independent UK became clearer. ElvisThePelvis
Although his comments are to calm Immediate uncertainty and volatility, I do think this appears too knee jerk, what we need is a solid up panicked stewardship and this should have perhaps been delayed for a short time. There is no credible leader showing their face yet, Johnson and Gove would both be out of ther depth. Calls for a general election are ridiculous, nothing would hurt us more now than the risk of a coalition.
guzzicat
I think giving the job of leaving should not have been given to someone who did not want to leave in the first place.

Dunkield
As we are now in a period of instability, I think he should have stayed for a while at least until some sort or normality was restored. Going just adds another layer of uncertainty that markets don't respond well to.
