sako751sg
Not compared to a wee while ago. Scrap copper is not too bad at around £3.60-£3.80,lead £1kg and heavy over £100 the ton which is worth the effort.
Vince Green
It funny, our club gets next to nothing for the scrap lead from the back of the range yet we are constantly hearing price hikes in the cost of ammo being blamed on the price of lead. the enigma
This weren't worth the effort of taking to the recycling plant for £22. Aluminium? Scrap steel had climbed back to about £75/ton over here not that long ago, tempted to starting pull old machinery out of the nettles. old man
Only seen one legitimate dealer here displaying full details on van. An old established local firm. The rest drive at the speed of light as they hope to swoop around unnoticed?
yod dropper
Four local golf clubs have been targeted this month for the batteries from the golf carts. There's still money in it. Just had a quick check on Op Galileo and Randall. Loads of lead from Church roofs, batteries, trailers, farm equipment, hare coursing, heating oil, trespass, break ins etc etc. To 10 March: http://saxlingham-nethergatepc.norfolkparishes.gov.uk/2017/03/12/rural-crime-update-10th-march-2017/ To 17 March, one week later, add these: http://saxlingham-nethergatepc.norfolkparishes.gov.uk/category/operation-randall/
Mice!
Going back to the original post pic, was it a no questions asked deal the aluminium looks like left overs from machining or scrap cnc parts or is Ali just not very expensive when weighed in? Did they ask what grade it was or just generalised as aluminium? Edited March 23, 2017 by Mice!
