old'un
Is it just me or does anyone else get fed-up with sport being classed as news, when I put the TV on to hear the news I want news that is relevant to most of the UK not what some football manager had for breakfast before the match or what footballer as been transferred to whatever club for £millions or what golfer got a birdie at the whatever, people into these sports already know what's going on with their club or sports person/s they follow, but the media seems to think that most of the UK wants to know. Well I don't, its not news. Rant over, tin hat on...

paulnix
Whats worse is the way they explain whats happening as if they were talking to children just to make sure we understand how we should be feeling towards one side or the other, used to be all about facts but now it's all about emotions. station
Totally agree. I enjoyed football in the 70's and 80's and the reporting of it too. Now like mentioned, I have no interest in managers breakfasts and the like. The game is now just money money money and overpaid idiots. ATB. walshie
I think even worse than that is the "news headlines" feeling the need to include who Taylor Swift is dating now, like anyone cares.

rimfire4969
I like sport and am quite happy to hear about it, I mean proper sport like rugby not football.
wandringstar
yes, I agree, sport means very little to me, apart from big snooker matches, and Wimbledon. I went from being a big football fan to someone who couldn't care less, I wouldn't care if I never heard about football again. I have my reasons, its not just being cynical. AVB
I'd rather hear about sports (other than the Gooners) rather than the election or Syria. Each to their own.
das
Snooker and golf OK. Football and rugby not for me.
