Robertt
Correct me if I'm wrong. Is this about side x sides we own and love, and use or the history of side by sides from the year dot. I.e flintlocks, pinfires etc, etc. Surely really old stuff should be designated into different place. The essence of the thread shoul surely be a out semi modern guns we can use today. Who's to say that Feltwad doesn't use his Jefferies pin fire on a regular basis. Even used occasionally, still makes it a workable gun. The more unusual the better I say. What a beautiful gun. As said, bar in wood. They don't come any better. The pleasure derived from shooting that I'm sure is immeasurable. Unusual lift up top lever also. Love it. Thanks for including it to the already increasing photos of lovely guns on this thread. OB

I don't but can do. I shall be getting my dad to put a Silvers pad on the 10 and on the AYA No.3 magnum I recently purchased. He'll be doing something with the stocks and forends (beavertail) too, over the summer. The Midland is the bottom one, halfway through the pad fitting and prior to the oil finish. The top one is a D.H. Wallas. Edited April 20, 2018 by Penelope
